How we handle the information you share with Octave.

When you use this website

We do not add advertising trackers, analytics pixels or a tag manager. Your browser requests page files from our hosting provider. Functional browser storage keeps temporary reading and navigation state, such as your position in Insights; it is not used for advertising.

When you contact us

When you email hello@withoctave.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use this information to reply and, if you ask, arrange a conversation about your clinic. It is not added to a marketing list, sold or used for unrelated marketing.

We do not use your enquiry to make a solely automated decision with a legal or similarly significant effect.

Lawful basis

Legitimate interests, namely responding to a business enquiry you started. Object at any time and what you sent is deleted.

How long it is kept

No longer than needed. If we do not end up working together it is deleted within twelve months, and sooner if you ask.

Please do not send patient information

Write to us about your clinic, not about your patients. Anything patient-identifiable that arrives will be deleted, and you will be told it has been.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at hello@withoctave.com. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Last updated 26 September 2026. This notice covers email enquiries and correspondence. Processing clinic data is governed separately by the applicable services agreement and Data Processing Agreement.
