Why this role exists
A technically correct automation can still fail if access arrives late, staff are unsure what changed, exceptions have no owner, or nobody checks whether patients actually moved.
You will own the connective work that prevents that. This is a hands-on delivery role across onboarding, data access, configuration, testing, training, launch, and the first weeks of live operation.
What you will do
- Turn an approved workflow brief into a practical implementation plan with owners, dependencies, risks, dates, and launch evidence.
- Coordinate access to clinic systems and data without normalising insecure shortcuts or collecting more information than the workflow needs.
- Configure routing, approvals, templates, clinic hours, exclusions, and escalation paths with the people who carry the responsibility.
- Plan and run user acceptance testing with representative records, exceptions, and safe synthetic scenarios.
- Train clinic teams on what the workflow does, what it deliberately does not do, how to approve work, and how to pause it.
- Own launch readiness, hypercare, issue triage, and the handover into a stable operating rhythm with clear measures.
You will probably thrive here if
- You have owned complex customer implementations, clinical projects, health-tech onboarding, or operational change with multiple stakeholders.
- You are organised without becoming bureaucratic. Your plans make responsibility clearer and decisions faster.
- You can explain technical behaviour in plain language and notice when a reassuring sentence has hidden an unresolved risk.
- You are calm in live delivery, comfortable inside client environments, and willing to chase the small dependency that would otherwise derail the launch.
What good looks like
- Within 30 days, you understand the current implementation path and remove one source of avoidable uncertainty.
- Within 90 days, you have owned a clinic launch with complete testing, training, and a clean transition into live use.
- Within six months, implementations are faster, more repeatable, and easier for clinic teams to control.
